Evolution...

 Mares' Tails began as an amateur pottery wheel "weld-up experiment" back in the dark ages... late '80's. An 1100 rpm furnace motor belted to a '67 Mustang front wheel assembly didn't quite do the trick... a disaster!  After a a few modifications and a year of dogged experimentation I surmised that this was  a classic case of putting the cart before the horse. Hooked on "throwing", I sought more formal training. The studio has since evolved into a fully-equipped "playground" where one's imagination can run wild. My skill level ?... always a work-in-progress.
